A'Beckett Tower
A'beckett Tower
A $150 million development comprising 287 apartments and ground-floor retail completed in late 2010. The A'Beckett Tower, designed by Elenberg Fraser, was an incredible success both from a design perspective as well as a sales perspective. It beat the trend, selling out within three months, during a time when residential sales were at an all-time low in Melbourne. Reaching over 33 levels, the project was constructed by ICON Construction and was finished a full six months ahead of schedule. The project has been recognised internationally and has gained notable awards including the Institute of Architects 2011 'Best Residential Project' award, which was the second year running for GURNER™’s partnership with Elenberg Fraser, after the success of 401 St Kilda Road in 2010.
